The aromatics of this wine are dark and rich with notes of baker's chocolate, black cherries, black plum, candied violets, jasmine and sandalwood. The entry is full and resinous with complex flavors of brambly berries and sweet plum chutney, Chambord and creme de casses. The finish delivers plenty of length and structure with lingering, velvety tannins. This wine will continue to develop with bottle aging for at least 8-10 years.
